The government of New Zealand is considering the 'phased elimination of American Pit Bull 'terrier-type' dogs from the entire county. It has also been recommended that all 'pit bulls' be classified as dangerous. therefore requiring they be neutered, muzzled in public and ANY ownership transfers would have to be approvedd. Importation of Filas Tosas, and Dogos wouldd also be prohibited.
