DID YOU KNOW?...



That a case of Demodectic mange can sometimes look just like 

‘flea-bite’ dermatitis?  YEP... a Rottie can lose its hair around 

the rump and inside of the thighs from chewing and if you have 

fleas  you might just think that the flea is the almighty 

culprit... BUT, on the other hand if you don’t have fleas NEVER 

completely rule out he mangy little critter called the Demodex 

mite.  Maybe you should check for this mite before running 

expensive allergy tests.... just a thought.



Talk to your veterinarian if your Rottie is chewing and developing 

alopecia (hair loss).
