Dear Jan,

Received the "Rott N Chatters" today...time was forced to STAND STILL.... I

devoured them; love the poems.TEARS and ALL!...I have enjoyed your poems in

the FREEP and TRQ;  they always bring a smile (or tear) but OH, SO VERY

TRUE!!!

 

I loved your comment about Muriels' book. (See me 20 years ago...page 66, I

think.  Dog hero, TARA. Tara was the first Rottie to place in the Ken L

Ration Dog Hero Contest.  She was major pointed, had a CD, but was

dysplastic so was spayed and retired.)

 

I will NEVER buy another show quality Rottie (although, I've had 8 since

Tara, and the reason is totally UNRELATED to her problems).  I just feel so

much for the poor devils that need rescuing...and a Rottie person to

understand them...that is where I'll get my future dogs.  (I currently have

three rescues).
