ROTT N CHATTER, January 1993, Volume 1 Number 6 ROTT N NOTES Hi Jan, I really enjoyed the issue you sent to me. Please enter my subscription. Just a bit of info ....I called AKC regarding 'death' notices to them. They advised me they would like to know when an AKC registered dog passes on. All someone has to do is drop them a note with the dog's name and registration # on it, advising them the dog is deceased. This way they can keep their records up-to-date. I am sending off my note to them regarding Hildegarde, and am enclosing a copy of her registration showing date of death. This way in case anyone inquires AKC about a certain dog, they will have the proper information. Thanks, Katie Maess Dear Jan, Thanks or sending those back issues my way, and so promptly too. I am interested in learning about carting and am finding the carting series very enjoyable. the public needs to see that our dogs can behave publicly and are not the 'Hounds from Hell' the media delights in portraying. I own and love 4 Rotties-two of which are in Open Obedience and have CGCs, one is a Schutzhund prospect and the 4th we've just rescued and are training for a CD. We are very public with our Rotties and do a lot of socializing. Angie Birdsong
