ROTT N CHATTER, September 1992, Volume 1 Number 2 CHATTER BOX Dorothy Stephenson of Ventura, CA, suggests how NOT to use your head. She writes the following: "I live in a very rural area. My front door is windowed across the top half. I have two rottweilers that like to stand on the lower edge of the window panes and look out. The other day a young girl brought her 4H lamb over for me to see. I wanted to get to the door before my dogs realized someone was there. (That was my first mistake, now comes the second mistake.) I carefully opened the door a little bit and stuck my head through the narrow crack. Before I could say anything my 7 month old Rott n pup came running and jumped with both feet slamming up against the window edge of the door. Have you ever tried to pull your head out from a door that is being pinned by a 70 lb Rottweiler, all the while praying - no SCREAMING at the other Rottie to stay off? No one certainly can say I did not use my head this time!!" (Editor's Note: Last time I talked to Dorothy, she still had a headache.)
