I POSTED THE FOLLOWING ON MY FB AND AM SHARING IT HERE AND NOT AFRAID TO DO SO!!!!

Because Bob and I spent almost all day and evening at the VA Hospital yesterday and when we got home we were both exhausted, I missed all of the news.....but I am now angry and very disappointed that there are some in this wonderful country and many of the organizations that we all enjoy and support have decided that they have the right to deny another human being their right to voice their opinion simply because they disagree with it.
What has this country come to?????? I am speaking about the suspension of Phil Robertson for voicing his Biblically based opinion on other sexual orientations and religious cultures. Whether you or I agree with him is not the issue, it the right to be able to think differently than another and not be personally penalized for having the courage to say so is the issue.

Duck Dynasty is the most popular TV show EVER on cable TV....did anyone ever stop to think that the Robertson family is the most popular family because of their core beliefs? What's wrong with that? Why is it and when did it happen that we have to whisper our personal feelings for fear of reprisal? Do I demand that others MUST think like me and or change their opinions or lose their right to have one, because of how/who I am? A resounding "No!" We are all different and I have good, long time friends of differing religions and of different sexual orientations..we don't have to agree with one another on those differences, but we do care about one another based on the things we do agree on.

I love my country and just wish that the values that made this country the greatest on earth were maintained and upheld and treasured.

As you are probably aware by now, I am a very ardent fan of Duck Dynasty and the Robertson family and will remain one along with every member of my family!!

I know some FB friends may choose to unfriend me because of this note, but that is their right...I will not unfriend anyone because of theirs unless they are openly 'against' my faith, family and Rottweilers. Yep, in that order...

Oh...one more thing, I have been known as a Bible thumpin', spirit filled, Christian for years....an ya know what.. I AM PROUD OF IT!!

I have held Bible studies in my home years ago, prayed with many of my friends and love to talk about the scriptures and will continue to do so until I leave this world.
